Demand for certified inspectors has never been greater. To help meet that demand, NFCA, in partnership with the Flooring Consultants and Inspection Training Service of Dalton, Georgia, are holding an inspector certification course in Cambridge, Ontario.

FCITS began 1988 when there were few if any certified inspectors. Over the years their membership has grown to over 600 professionals carrying the respected FCITS designation throughout North America.

• Manufacturing and installation issues
• Environmental site assessment
• Moisture emissions in concrete slabs
• Review ASTM standards for concrete moisture and alkalinity testing

• All installation procedures for carpet, laminate, hardwood, vinyl, LVT/LVP and ceramic tile and stone
• Carpet yarn and fibers, cleaning, maintenance, and the manufacturing process
• Inspection tools and how to use them
• How to write an inspection report
