Advanced Course for Luxury Vinyl Tile & Plank Covers:

• the manufacturing of sheet, vinyl composition tile and other speciality products and their tolerances.
• hear from leading installation and technical services/support specialists on what to look for out on jobs.
• watch as an expert installation trainer demonstrates the correct way to flash cove and heat weld and the wrong way as it relates to commercial flooring.
• see how improper installation and jobsite conditions can cause gaps, buckling, bubbles, ledging, peaking and more, and how to identify the cause as well as responsible party.
• hear from an adhesive manufacturer (Taylor) how adhesives are produced, what goes wrong and who’s at fault.
• learn about patching and leveling compounds, subfloors and substrates. And there is cleaning and maintenance too.
• look at mockups of failed installations and learning the correct methods of diagnosis, making a determination and writing a report.
  After all it is your report that the commissioning party will judge you by and we will have experts in report writing on hand to help elevate your skills to the next level which may in turn create a greater demand for your services over others in your market.
